Hi friend, I’m Dan.
I have been working in education and educational leadership for the past 20 years. At every stage in my career, I have been dedicated to building schools in which teachers, students and families thrive. Along the way, several key colleagues and mentors have catalysed my growth and success, but not everyone is as lucky as I have been.
I began my career as a classroom teacher at a small school in Western Sydney and have since held various leadership positions in many schools, including: two different K-12 roles in teacher development, Assistant Head of School, and Head of School. I have worked with students and staff across P-12, in classroom and boarding environments. In these roles, I have been responsible for curriculum, pedagogy, staff development, managing budgets, compliance and risk management, and leading teams of educators to success.
As a coach, I bring more than just my own expertise and knowledge – I approach my work from the fundamental, unshakeable belief in your competence. Together, as coach and coachee, we help you find the solutions to the challenges you face, and strategies for making massive progress on your goals.
I have been trained by Jim Knight in Instructional Coaching, as well as undertaken professional development in Growth Coaching and Cognitive Coaching. My coaching practice is also influenced by Motivational Interviewing, an evidence-based method of coaching and supervision.
I am dedicated to helping educators achieve their full potential, both in the classroom and in leadership roles. I am passionate about helping educators develop their leadership skills, build their confidence, and achieve their professional goals. Whether you are a new teacher looking to take on more responsibility, someone just stepped into a new role, or a seasoned veteran looking to take your career to the next level, I am committed to helping you succeed.
With my extensive experience and training, I am confident that I can help you become a more effective leader and teacher. If you are ready to take your career to the next level, I would be honored to work with you.
